Support and grow The Brief
We will support the team behind The Brief: The Road Less Litigated to build on their work and reach more students. Through promotion across SULS channels and collaboration with other portfolios, we will help grow awareness of the podcast and connect students with its conversations about diverse pathways in law.
Promote publications and grow engagement
We will use social media to promote SULS journals and guides, helping more students discover and engage with the work of our publications teams. By highlighting releases, sharing content and celebrating editors and contributors, we will build excitement around publications and strengthen connections within the teams behind them. We will also collaborate with other portfolios where our work intersects, including supporting the Sport portfolio’s proposed Sports Law Panel and Sports Law Journal.
Accessible publications, shaped by students
We will make it clear how students can get involved in SULS publications through clear callouts, submission guidance and information about editorial and contributor opportunities. Working with editorial teams and the Design portfolio, we will use student feedback to make digital publications easier to read and navigate, and better understand the content students find useful.
Support new voices and build community
We will continue publication launch events to celebrate the work of editors and contributors, alongside social events to foster a sense of community. We will also work with editorial teams to offer an introductory writing or editing workshop, helping students build confidence in contributing. By welcoming first-time and experienced contributors across LLB and JD cohorts, we will build a community where students feel supported, valued and empowered to contribute.
